More 1988 Cartoon Fun

Unhappy Yahweh.

Dennis the Menace.

As long as it never happens to us.

Occupied Cemetaries.

Occupied Coffins.

Palestinians into Plowshares.

As I mentioned in the previous cartoon post these cartoons come from a book I pulled from my library last night. After a long night studying for law school finals, I wanted some cartoons to go with my soup. So I grabbed Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, 1989 Edition, edited by Charles Brooks, from the shelves.

As I perused the pages, I was blown away how these cartoons applied to the situation today, even though they were drawn a generation ago.

I have at least one more installment from the 1988 book before I dig into the 1991 tome. - Peace - KK

Things don't change much. It's been 18 years since these were published, and, well, they speak for themselves.
